Needless to say, I was second rate today...

A break in the clouds...

I thought I'd actually finish posting about my third week in the Fox Den...and put the first two weeks on hold once again. Did I mention I've been spending a lot more time in the library? I could kick myself for not posting right away. The girls are constantly saying the funniest things, and I only get a small fraction of it on video/camera. Anyway, I mentioned that it had rained a ton earlier in the week. But the sun came out to play for awhile, and the girls were just busting at the seams to get outside again. The girls played on the deck for a bit in the morning, and in the afternoon we geared up for a walk... Shield your eyes Drew. This boy is proud to be a Cubs fan! Did I mention they were busting at the seams? Setting out and sticking together. (We hold holds on the streets when we venture outside the Fox Den!) See the small gnome in the middle of the picture...Yeah, that's "SANTA!" I hear his name every.single.time. we walk by this house. And exploring the ...

One of my favorite pictures of Drew back in the day... And another that I snapped last night... Love my outdoors man! :) More pictures of the night to come...

Another Rainy Day

Image
I dropped off my book at the library...and picked up a new one. I have lived in the same town, on the same gravel road, in the same farm house for all the days of my twenty-two years. Today was the first day I stepped foot in my town's library (to my knowledge). Now I only have two months to read as many books as possible before moving. *Sigh* Why didn't I think of this sooner... My point being that I have put little effort into posting blog worthy posts. So they remain in an unseen part of the internet world. However, I thought I'd throw out another quick post from earlier this week. It rained last weekend. It rained on Monday. It also rained on Tuesday. So we found rainy day activities. And when we got tired of that we walked around in our jackets... Then managed to almost rip out the clippies I had put in their hair earlier in the day... And for good measure, here's one of a bright eyed Rowan! I work at the care center tomorrow, but hopefully I'll slip in another...

Play-Doh Letters

Image
I'm in the process of piecing together a couple posts from my first weeks in the Fox Den, as well as some other random posts. However, my computer has caused me great grief in allowing me to highlight an entirely long post and delete it with the press of a key. And because I am so engrossed in a book fresh from the library...I have no ambition to put any finishing touches on any posts. So for now I have a few pictures of the girls from earlier today. We played with Play-Doh (yes, me included) and I rolled and cut up some letters for the girls. Needless to say we had to have pictures of each girl with their letters! :) What little cheesers!
