Trial Run...I Mean Walk
Last Tuesday I spent a few hours with some of my absolute favorite little ones...

Monday afternoon Carey asked if I would want to watch the girls and Baby Rowan for a few hours, and after seeing that my calendar was clear, there was little contemplating to be done...because um yes, I would absolutelycompletelyandtotally love, love, love to watch them! And I did just that.
I could go on and explain how much I adore these little girls, but each post would turn into a novel. But I supppose the pictures will suffice; even if they only show 1/6784567 of these girls' personalities. I just can't wait to see the personality the lone brother develops with three big sisters.
So this was my first experience watching the four of them this summer (I actually begin watching them in June), but the girls seemed to have plenty of ideas as to how the day would play out. We all decided on a walk, which consisted of...
...penny finding

...silly faces

...flower picking

...and a scraped knee.

Unfortunately, the last two blocks of the walk went undocumented as I was trying so desperately to get the girls up the largest hill with a crying baby. Meanwhile, Zoe kept sitting on the curb to get the rocks out of her shoe. And right outside the house, Stella stuck her hands in the peonies and came running to me with yellow fingers. Did I happen to mention that it was Abby's idea to pick the flowers for mommy, which were "donated" by an unknown donor? But it was all in good fun, even if only one out of three flowers made it home.
So after settling the baby with a bottle, making pb&j sandwiches with my one free hand (I expect to be a pro at the within a week), and settling down to read Toy Story 3 with the girls, Mama came home to this sight...

More Foxy tales to come in a week!
