Green Eggs and Ham...Minus the Ham!

So I am definitely jumping ahead a few posts, but I wanted to introduce the newest family in my life...Meet Hallie, Owen, and Entergetic Ella! Honestly, I'm still trying to figure out how I manage to meet such great families. These kids come complete with manners and all.

After school the other day Ella asked me what she should have for a snack. I suggested green eggs and ham, and while I was one-hundred percent joking, the girl was all for it. So we just made green eggs because we didn't have any ham. (Honestly, this was probably a plus because I have absolutely no idea how to make green ham!) And yes, for your visual entertainment I'm including pictures...

The Duo Meet the Trio

My cousin, Katy, and her twin boys, Dawson and Porter, were back in Iowa for a week this summer so they came over for a play date with the girls! The boys will be two and a half later this month and the girls are now four...by looking at the pictures you really can't tell they are that far apart in age but fun was had by all during the few hours they spent with us. The day consisted of playing, reading books, playing, jumping with Rowan, playing, eating lunch, playing, and finally goodbye hugs. A Bundle of Blurbs

For starters, I'm not entirely sure if a blurb is the exact wordage I was looking for when coming up with a title for this post. I actually had to google 'description on back of book' to see what the actual term for the description on the back of the book was called, and that's what popped up so blurb it is! Anyway... Within the last year my little love bug, Ella, has managed to not only learn how to read, but write rather well for a seven year old. She is ridiculously creative and I have a serious love for this little girl. I have told many that she is the most brutally honest little girl I have ever met, and believe it or not, that's probably one of the main reasons why I love her so much! But back to her creative writing skills...a couple weeks back Ella had a friend over, and they began working on a library of books. How to pick a flower (or plant)...
